Made In Abyss is a manga and anime series written and illustrated by Kōhei Horikoshi. The story follows the adventures of two detectives in a bizarre and surreal world, where the laws of reality are suspended and all that is left is the world of fantasy. It began as a manga published in Webtoons, and later expanded into an animated series produced by AIC, and then another animated series produced by Studio A-1 Pictures.
